Alameda Station

Tuesday, December 2nd, 2008

New to the Baker neighborhood, Klipp Architecture has sketched some intial plans for the Alameda Station development:

Here’s what they say about the project:

The Alameda Station mixed-use transit-oriented development, for which planning and design are under way, is based on the foundation of strong real estate and urban design fundamentals, compact design, retail appropriate to the market, market-driven housing, supportive neighborhoods, a well-defined public space and walkable, mixed-use development. Plans for the eight-acre site call for 45,000 square feet of mixed retail, office and restaurant space; 300 to 450 apartment; a pedestrian bridge over the CML/RTD Light Rail; and ample parking to serve commercial and residential use.
