DENVER-AREA NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION ANNOUNCES NAME CHANGE

DENVER – Local nonprofit organization Bayaud Industries announces its official name change to Bayaud Enterprises, effective immediately. The name change was made to more accurately reflect the work the organization is doing in the community; it is a symbolic shift in perception from production and assembly to innovative endeavors and spirited entrepreneurship.  The nonprofit sector as a whole has been shifting away from the image of industrial workshops, and Bayaud Enterprises has followed suit, showcasing their social enterprises.  Bayaud Enterprises knows that employment matters, and that it is the key to self-sufficiency.

The organization has served the Denver area for the past 40 years, providing vocational rehabilitation and employment services to individuals with mental, emotional, physical and economic challenges. They also provide valuable training for employers as well as viable, competitive business services to the community.  Through document destruction, reproduction of 9News video broadcasts, and payroll services for other organizations, Bayaud Enterprises funds their vocational services.

A name change is the only change for Bayaud Enterprises – they are still providing the same quality services they have for the past 40 years.  Bayaud Enterprises provides these services for individuals with disabilities, mental illness, or those who are homeless.  Clients are accepted based on referrals or the meeting of certain eligibility requirements. Bayaud Enterprises is not an employment agency, but does provide valuable employment training and services. For more information about Bayaud Enterprises, please visit www.bayaudenterprises.org or call (303) 830-6885.
